16 June 1976 - 2022

This June 16 sees the introduction of a new art space and it's arsenal of creatives being showcased in a pop up exhibition at the Redcon 94 On Top rooftop venue. This collective of young artists who hail from the Asisebenze Art Atelier, located in the heart of Johannesburg's inner city, each embody and showcase the essence of 1976 which showed the world the tenacity of this country's youth. This is a collective seeking to honour these heroes and assert their presence in history.
