It is with great pleasure that the Asisebenze Art Atelier (AAA) presents our first showing at this year's Investec Cape Town Art Fair. "Man of the Hour", forming part of the Past/Modern, selection of exhibitions and projects at the fair, which draw parallels between the past and present of artistic practice. This solo offering of abstract paintings from the late South African artist, Samson Mnisi, showcases his unique brand of unapologetic Afro-centric form of abstraction which simultaneously alludes to ancestry and African spirituality is presented and racked alongside more contemporary political themes. The works which form part of the "Man of the Hour" exhibition - Minsi's final solo offering after his passing.

Asisebenze Art Atelier is a gallery space, artist studios and art dealership based in the heart of the Johannesburg inner city. Since 2021 AAA has holistically embraced its environment & the cosmopolitan identity which accompany it. It is this melting pot energy from the late elder of Asisebenze Art Atelier which still breaths through the works on show at this year's booth from Asisebenze Art Atelier.
