Best route due to Bree Str closures

The artists at Asisebenze were reminded in July that life in the inner city is anything but dull. The early evening gas explosion that ripped apart sections of Bree Str is a stone's throw from our building at 28 Plein Str.

Fortunately we were unharmed and took all necessary precautions to make sure everyone was safe.

As a result of this incident, parts of Bree Str has been closed to traffic, which may affect access to our building.

Have a look at this map for the easiest route to take if you're coming down the M1 South.

Take the Smit Str offramp and travel west toward Braamfontein. Instead of going down over the Queen Elizabeth Bridge, which becomes Simmonds Str, travel one block further to Harrison Str. 

Travel down past the Home Affairs office on your right, and turn left into Plein Str. You will see our iconic art deco frontage 5 blocks ahead. You need to turn into Joubert Str, and within about 30m turn right into our parkade.

The security guard on duty will direct you to the available parking bay, with 100 of them to choose from.
